Distance sure made this heart fonder

He’s here for two weeks and the sun has never shone so bright. I feel bad for allowing myself to forget how good just being around him feels. But I’m forgiving myself because long distance is very hard and it seems that the end might just be near. At least it feels that way.

Our application for common law sponsorship is in and the proverbial ball is rolling. Our lawyer is hopeful that we will get the work permit within 6 months which is a nice bonus. In the mean time, we can enjoy our two weeks by getting me settled into my new apartment1. He has been absolutely amazing; even though it’s his holiday he’s done so much for me around the house and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Note to self: Take time off the next time you move house!! I don’t know what I was thinking really!
