Oh what a night!

It was my Mum’s birthday today. We didn’t do much; we bought her a shop! card and some greeting cards, and flowers. We also get her a cake which we dropped off at the place we were having dinner at, and asked the server to bring it over when we were done our meals. I hope she had a good time. I didn’t get to talk to her much after dinner because I had to leave for our Christmas Staff party. Since we’re in the service industry it proves difficult to hold this event during the actual Holiday Season so we get to celebrate it a month later. S’ok. We know how to party!

I haven’t had that much fun dancing in AGES. There wasn’t anything I didn’t feel like dancing to and boy have I needed the exercise! I got there around 10:30PM and I’ve only gotten home in my PJs now. Whoa. I have a presentation tomorrow. I’m not going to have a voice. Rachel1, Andrea1, Kandy 1 and I pretty much stuck together and Sam, Kenny and a few others would stick around and dance with us too. There were quite a few people there, okay there were a LOT of people there. It was nice seeing everyone having such a good time. In fact, I was so care free that I didn’t even care when some drunk chick spilt beer on my newly dry cleaned pants; I was able to rationalize immediately that I had been dancing and sweating in them already anyway so I’d have to dry clean them again before I wear them again. I just wish I still had *him* to come home to… I really, really missed our home downtown tonight. And our comfy double bed. And waking up to his cute manly face. 😉 Damn you Lynn for reminding me!!

  1. Awww… sorry about that Reg! lol… But I’m glad you had lots of fun dancing the night away. You seemed a bit stressed these past couple of weeks so I’m glad you got a chance to relax a bit. =)
