I’m hoping to post something Christmassy everyday this month to put you in the same Christmas spirit that I am in. Today, I’d like to share with you one of my favourite Christmas Carols/Hymns to sing with the choir1: Carol of the Bells.
I’m sure I could’ve found a better video on YouTube for this… but I think Vimeo’s videos are generally of better quality so here we go:
Carol of the Bells from Mark Rash on Vimeo.
I probably love this more so because its really fun to sing, but to me, its not Christmas unless I hear the Carol of the Bells.
Ding Dong Ding Dong. What’s your favourite Christmas Carol?

I’ve loved this song since my older sister performed it in a hand-bell choir. Two years later, I got to sing it in choir, too. It always produces an emotional reaction in me — even though they overplay it in commercials every year.

@trench: I’m not sure I’ve ever heard that CD; New Edition are R&B right?
@Lyndi: Thanks, its great work. I wish I had the patience LOL
@Penny: I hope you’re feeling more Christmassy now!! Your party is in 5 days!!
@Ken: LOL Yes, they do sing quite nice. I hope you don’t mind but I took a break already! More tomorrow though I promise!
Hi Carole, Welcome! ‘Do You Hear What I Hear’ is another good one! I forgot about that one! I haven’t heard Johnny Mathis’ version of Merry Christmas but I’ll be sure to keep an ear out for it!
Hi Tamara, Welcome 🙂 I’m glad you liked it! There will be more to come in the next week or so!
@Michael: It does, doesn’ it? 🙂
It sounds like an orchestra…
This is such a beautiful melody. It captures the beauty and pathos of this blessed holiday. This is a beautiful version. Thank you.
I also love Carol of the Bells, excellent choice. I also like “Do You Hear What I Hear” a lot. My favorite album would be Johnny Mathis’ “Merry Christmas” probably because it holds such fond childhood memories.

Very nice. If this does not awaken that Christmas spirit, nothing will.
