Monday Madness: The bucket list meme

EDIT: Shame on me! I got this list from Haley over at The Beacon!

I’ve wanted to create my own bucket list for a while now, but I never seem to get around to actually doing it. But its better to check items off an existing list rather than not check any items off of any list at all. So when I saw Lisa got this meme from Haley, who got it from Aerten’s Blah Blah Blah blog. 1. Aww you’ve done a lot of great things. My list isn’t so long but I’m working on it (hopefully) 🙂

    Pennys latest..Disconnected

  3. do I get extra credit for the ones I have repeated? Such as visit Disney or had food poisoning?

Debbie Lanes latest..Things Are Looking Up!

  4. @fragileheart

I took my employer to small claims court, so was planning on representing myself. I did have to pay the court costs up front though, which was around $100.

When my employer called me up to settle, I asked her to split the court costs with me. Even though I was in the right, I wasn’t looking forward to going to court, so $50 seemed like a fair compromise.

I thought the Bucket List was a pretty cool movie, so if you get/got the chance to watch it I would recommend it 🙂

  5. @trench: I’d actually like to visit the Vatican again; I think I was too immature to fully appreciate the beauty I was seeing – I don’t remember much!

@Ken: Thanks, I hope you do this because I’d be curious to see what items you’re able to check off on this list!

@Erica: LOL Careful, your boss might be reading my blog!

@AmeriGlide: I haven’t seen the movie as yet but my Mum tells me its showing on TMN on Demand which we get for free with our digital cable package so I might watch that today. Sounds like they knew they couldn’t win the lawsuit so they just paid you out – did you have to pay for the lawyers’ fees then though?

@Leah: Ooh please do steal it! I’ll be waiting for yours!

@Øyvind: Glad you got it! Obviously a bit slower over there as people in the US and Australia got it before I came back to Toronto hehehe

  6. I have done #97, Been involved in a law suit, as well. One of my old employers didn’t want to pay me my last paycheck, so after about 3 months, I took them to small claims court. They paid me the day of the case, so I never actually had to go into court, but there was a decent amount of paperwork to fill out.

If you are counting computer languages, I have taught myself at least six of those as well 😉

This is a pretty cool idea. I had never heard the term “bucket list” before I saw the movie last year, but it really is a neat idea and a very cool movie.
